Ashlyn Nelson, a 6th grader at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School, was featured on the April 22nd episode of the Kelly Clarkson Show, a perfect way to celebrate Earth Week.
Ashlyn has now appeared on the show twice in the last year, showcasing her artwork made from recycled materials. Kelly Clarkson arranged for Ashlyn to work with nationally recognized artist Angela Pozzi, with The Washed Ashore Project, on a 13-foot sturgeon made from trash found at the beach. The piece will be displayed at the Green Bay Botanical Gardens.
