Our Lady of Lourdes School is pleased to announce that Angi Hamer has accepted the position of Assistant Principal starting in the 2021-22 school year.
Ms. Hamer comes to us from a long career in Chesterfield County Schools. She has a BA in Special Education from Elon College, a Certificate in Emotionally and Learning Disabled Education from UNC Wilmington, and a Masters in Educational Leadership and Administration from George Washington University. She taught Special Education students for 12 years, serving as Department Chair and Dean of Students during that time. She then served as Assistant Principal at Bird High School for five years. For the last eight years, Ms. Hamer has worked in administration for CCPS as Senior Student Information Specialist and Coordinator of Database Services.
As the parent of two Lourdes students, she is a familiar face to the Lourdes community and is excited to bring her talents to our school.
