B.S. Mass Communications, VCU 2001
I am brand new to Our Lady of Lourdes. I have twin sixth grade boys who will be attending Lourdes this year. My daughter is a freshman at Patrick Henry High School. As a long-term substitute in Hanover County I have taught Kindergarten and 4th grade. As a regular substitute, I have experience in pre-K through middle school. My family attends St. James the Less Episcopal Church in Ashland.
After spending 12 years in non-profit public relations, I left the work force to stay home with my three children under the age of four at the time. When my boys went to preschool I was offered a job as a teachers assistant and realized I absolutely love working with children. I spend my free time (do moms have free time?) driving my children to activities, cheering on my daughter on the field hockey and lacrosse fields, reading, or playing with my two dogs and two cats.
