Carla began working at Lourdes as an instructional assistant in 2024. Before joining Lourdes, she wore many hats in public schools, government, and health care; also, she found purpose and delight in working with preschoolers for seven years at West End Presbyterian Church. Her daughter attends Lourdes as a middle schooler and her son is in high school. Carla has been a parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Church since she was a preschooler, which was a while ago.
Carla loses track of time in her garden, enjoys going on walks, and generally finds life fascinating.
