Mrs. Blake began teaching 5th grade Language Arts and Social Studies at Lourdes in the fall of 2023. She has previously taught 5th grade through 12th grade. Before changing careers to follow her passion of serving children and helping them learn to love learning, she worked in the corporate world in tax policy. That must be why she enjoys teaching Government so much!
In her spare time, Mrs. Blake enjoys spending time with her family and two yellow labs. She tries hard to walk or jog several days a week. Yet, on crisp days in the spring and fall, you will likely find her sitting on her porch with a cup of hot tea and a good book.
